Im not one to start rumours but I heard to BBC WM, on their eqivilant to the moan in, that MF was linked to the baggies. I heard more than 3 people say this :confused::confused:

Proberly tosh, but could explain where potential money for Elliott might come from:icon_cry:

The last caller last night said don't sell anyone to which there was no reply.    No sale. :098:

Baggies only have two strikers and he would be an ideal signing, and for MF he lives closer to West Bromwich so really i hope they aren't interested in him because i can see him going there, he will cost thought i think £3-5 million. I will ask my mate from work (who in actual fact is a baggies fan) to ask Matty Fryatt (his mate) and ill let you know if there is any truth in this.

£3-5 million.

We'd get £1.5 million at the very most IMO.

I think we got a real bargain if we did actually sign him for 1million, i think he is worth more then 1.5 considering Cameron Jerome went for 3.5 million i wouldve thought Fryatt would be around the same amount of money.

We signed Fryatt for 500k rising up to 750k if I am correct.

he is still worth more than 1.5m and a team like baggies who spend big money on quite often shite players would have a good player for 3m.

i wouldnt sell for less than 3m, we dont need to

I agree 2 - 3 million IMO, if the stories are to be believed. However I think if we were seriously considering selling Fryatt then there would be some genuine interest from the premiership.

If there was an offer around 2m, the club would snatch their hands off.

If a premiership club were interested he would be gone anyway.

Why would a Premiership club be interested in him now if they weren't back in January when we signed him?

He's had some good games but 6 goals in 21 games at this level is hardly the sort of record that will interest Premiership clubs.

not really atothez, he has only just come up from league 1 and has yet to prove anything at this level never mind another one up. He would be much more interested in a club more likely to gain promotion from this league this season than staying put. this would give him a year of valuable experience before stepping up to abigger club.

I think you estimate on the figure we should get for him is fair though. Could be interesting if he does go as I think this is one of the few away matches i will got his season.

I agree with that but as mentioned above, he is likely to be keen to move towards a more promising championship level club with a view to building a career.

The way we play and the lack of service is hardly the best from his point of view.

I hope that this doesn't happen because it could be a further severe dampener.

exactly fcukcov-fryatt has proven nothing yet to merit premiership interest

He has potential and he has shown that he is capable of making the step up, granted his goalscoring ratio hasn't been that impressive but his overall play and work rate on the whole has been very good.

He is also very highly rated within football circles and that will alert clubs and many will be watching with him more than a passing interest.

Disagree, there are many cases now where bigger clubs sign youngsters with potential from the lower divisions regardless of the experience or number of matches they have played in. Many of the bigger clubs will have been alerted to Fryatt's potential ever since his very early games at Walsall and IMO he has made enough of an impact at this level to prove he is going to be a very good player with a bright future.

Remember he is still only 19 / 20 and if he can be picked up now for between 2 to 3 million then he is worth investing in, rather than waiting for a couple of years and potentially having to fork out twice that amount.

Ive been saying since june that we will lose one of our names for a reasonable fee, i hope i am wrong though!!! Dont fancy losign Fryatt right now!!

Perhaps they might think that their midfield would give him better support.
