Fryatt is going nowhere, he looks solid but nothing outstanding. Certainly not premiership material yet.

I think MF was on record as saying that there was interest from premiership clubs before he signed for us, but he realises that he is still learning and wants to play each week to keep learning his trade.

Who would come in and risk that amount of cash on him? Wigan had scouts at the Foxes v Stoke game last term when Connolly scored a hat-trick, I can totally see why they took that gamble, he was also a player who had played at the highest level.

Fryatt is a couple of seasons away yet. While I'm sure clubs know all about his potential, I'm sure they'd need to see him deliver at this level for an entire season before splashing out £3 million (almost as much as Blackburn paid for Benni McCarthy by the way) for him.

i dont see the point in signing fryatt if the club knew that we would sell him less than a season later. it dissrupts us more than not signing him in the first place.

we needed fryatt and thats why we got him, nothing has changed since then and we still need him.

can you smell it :icon_bigg :icon_bigg ;)

hope this is just scaremongering otherwise we can kiss promotion goodbye for yet another year..not that i think we will go up this year even with him in the team...i know what i mean :icon_lol:

Is it only me that thinks 3 million for a player who has done very little in the grand scheme of things would be an excellent bit of business providing all funds were handed to RK??? :)

Shefki Kuqi fits the Adams profile perfectly - oldish, not really very good and physical

Good call, they won't get most of the transfer fee until the end of the season most likely so someone cheap like Kuqi would be an option.
