Change again !! With Darius Henderson pulling out of the deal to take him to Preston, Watford lack funds (the £500k from that) to buy Fryatt (and I suppose they've stiil got the 'extra' striker !). FRYATT THEREFORE STAYS - for now, at least ! If Fryatt stays, Leicester can't / won't even pay the £1.1m provisionally agreed with MK Dons for McLeod.

Please stop posting this horseshit, Watford have easily got the money to buy Fryatt and now that Henderson has pulled out of the move to Preston, I would say that increase the likelihood of Fryatt leaving as Preston are likely to re-new their interest. Preston have got plenty of money from the sale of Nugent.

I've heard that if Robben goes to Madrid then Chelsea can afford to bid around £1.5million for Fryatt as a replacement.

Whatever the truth, it appears that the club are certainly wanting to move Fryatt on if the right price comes in. Watford probably could afford both to keep Henderson and buy Fryatt but they are a well run club financially and probably don't think its worth having them both on the books when neither player appears to be any better than the other. It's only worth spending big money on a player if he is better than what you have got already.
Watfords hypothetical £1.6m is far less money than Wolves' real £900,000 that we were offered over a month ago. I would've snapped their hands off.

I think all this crap about Fryatt did not have the right manager to motivate him is horseshit! He is young and IF he is going to be a great player should have arrived with the right attitude. If he IS going to be great that attitude would not have vanished under Kelly! Tiatto was always up for a game and he had nothing to prove!

Ryan Smith from Arsenal was going to be the next great youngster - apart from his poor attitude. Even Billy Davies at D*rby couldn't get him to give a toss, even though he has done great things with average players.

I will not mind if Fryatt goes, particularly if we nail a sell-on clause to him!

We would probably need another striker though.

2 Good (Hume + DJ), 1 Good/OK (MDV), 1 Possible (Elvis), 1 Occasional (Cort) and 2 Kids (Eric + Ricky) might cover the whole season but not always be the best.

His 'broken' foot did not last all season! We had Stearman getting rat-arsed in the casinos and Fryatt sticking his dick in anything except his wife, allegedly.
