Big loss, lets hope whoever takes his position in next few games steps up to the opportunity!!

Had a very poor game last night - but compared to the other "strikers" at our disposal it certainly doesn't help matters

I've been quietly sobbing to myself & rocking myself back & forth ever since I heard this news.

Re: fryatt out

Your natural instinct if someone pulled you from behind is to raise your arms to steady yourself.
Blimey, my natural instinct is turn around and punch their heads in!!

But as a true professional, Fryatts reaction should be controlled and programmed to over-ride his natural reactions and to lower his arms and carry on playing football, which he failed to do..

Re: fryatt out

Fryatts arm was only where it was due to him being tugged from the player behind. Your natural instinct if someone pulled you from behind is to raise your arms to steady yourself. Fryatt did not swing at him, nor did he hit him in the face as the player appeared to suggest he had done. It was the ball.

The decision isn't going to be changed, but IMO they have got this wrong.

I think this has something to do with them only seeing the side angle, which I have openly stated doesn't do Fryatt any favours. I would be interested to see what the general feeling was if everyone had seen the rear view that Sky had shown last night.

I saw the sky footage last night and was of the opinion that Fryatt was above the player he was challenging as he struck him. Certainly didn't appear to be a sideways motion aimed at the player. It's a fine line I suppose.

In fairness I bet he's glad Ollie has a few games to teach the side how to supply the strikers on the floor.
