****ing wankers the lot of them, only out there for themselves, and offer nothing in return to its members when they need helping.

That definitely wasn't my experience, but I can't speak for all unions, and that certainly doesn't seem to be the case with the Ineos workers dispute.
 
I'll wager if the shop stays closed the unions will soon be wishing they'd allowed it to open.

What type of shop was it? Cheese and Onion Cob shops are my favourite.

My second favourite shop is one where you can find cheap booze, illegally imported from the continent. We have one of those at the end of our street. There's no union there - just an upstairs apartment housing 32 illegal immigrants.
