To be at the top of the tree, you need to be light enough not to break the thin branches. If you can't manage that, you're not meant to be at the top

Wise words indeed ;)

Totally agree with your points OG, we have seen that against Charlton and Spurs recently - I actually think some of the players would be competent at a higher level, mad thing to think I guess, but true.

Jessel are you on drugs?
Hughes 4, Williams 7 :icon_lol: and Cadermateri 10. Very strange ratings young man.:018:

I thought Hughes was rubbish, i thought he took too long on the ball and offered nothing, I admit Williams is probably 6 or 7 at times he was lazy, but at times he played well especially in the first 20 minutes.

Cadamateri deserved a high rating, he did exactly what was required he scored and got an assist, even though the team played well (well most of them) without Cadamateri coming on to get the assist and goal, we could've been out.

Branches seek out different ways to the light, though - and the championship goes in a very different direction from the Prem at times. I reckon a lot of Premiership midfielders, in particular, have struggled i the championship.

We have always performed better against teams who play football. We always struggle against big physical teams. As team we performed excellently on Sat but I do think if Williams had involved himself an extra 15% we could have done even better. Got great skills but lacks commitment and in our position I think it is hard to carry a player in the hope that he can produce occassionally. If he could give us that extra ,I would have no problem with a manger building a team around him, but at the moment I can only see him being a fringe player in th long run with his attitude.

How many clear chances did Fryall miss..... I need to know as I wasnt there and these ratings seem to propel him to a dizzy height.

Ummmmm, he created chances, pulled Pearce all over the place and looked class - Hume on the other hand (all our fave player apparently) missed an absolute open-goal, laid-on by Fryatt.

Play Fryatt and Cadamarteri up-front, Hume on the right.
