Hendo 5 - Kicking was great, was left wide open for most goals, but still, deserves no more for letting in 4.

Maybury 6 - Get off his back, he was ok last night. Routledge only just got by him once the night.
McCarthy 5 - Dies for the cause, but actually is getting found out a lot for me. Positionally adept, flounders and gives away fouls in dangerous areas. He needs to mature, but already thinks he's the finished article.
Kisnorbo 6 - Better than McCarthy, stronger and has a better awareness IMO.
MacAulay 7 - Sure Radzinski skinned him for their first equaliser, but IMO Gareth is a superb player.

Porter 6 - Found out a bit tonight, but then he is only 19!
Hughes 5 - Great ball for the Fryatt goal, great flick on for Fulham's second and sometimes allowed the game to pass him by.
Williams 7 - Good player, I eat my words, he has impressed me of late. He won the midfield battle against Brown for lots of the game.
Tiatto 5 - Shame we missed him actually, I think if he'd been on we might have hung on.

Fryatt 9 - MOM, excellent.
Hume 7 - Runs his legs off, made things happen by persistance.

Weso 7 - Looked good actually, although was at fault for not picking up for Fulham's third.
Stearman 6 - Wanted to see him on earlier to replace Hughes. At 3-1 we needed players with good positional sense, Hughes doesn't have this when he plays RM.
Cadamarteri 6 - Best song of the night, looked dangerous, kept crossing to the mighty Porter at the back post.......

Spot on with the ratings Alex - some of them earlier were much too harsh when we gave a proper game to a proper Prem. team.

I've been raving about Weso since he played in the friendly against Celtic last year - he showed how influencial he can be in our good run when Kelly took over last season and I think he's THE key player in our future. Looks like he can work with Williams as well.

It's also worth noting the fans - I've said it before, but there seems to be a bit of a relationship coming back between the fans and the players - it's all a bit more positive. We put Fulham's fans to shame last night,...which wasn't hard.

Yes, it was a great atmosphere created by our supporters.

I was really impressed with the team last night, inparticular the midfield and attack. We only lost the game due to some woeful peices of defending for Fulhams 1st, 3rd and 4th goals. The last goal was embarrassing (i was 5 yards away), 3 so called professionals all stopped playing as they saw the linesman waving his flag. Fair play to Routledge for carrying on playing - pretty school boy that "always play to the whistle".

Anyway at ponts we retained posession and past it around really well. But i think i've realsied why we normally score so few goals, our movement is so one dimentional and predictable. Rarely if ever does a midfielder get beyond the strikers, infact we nearly always play our football in front of the oppositions defence. Remember how Muzzy would run from deep and get beyond the strikers, this kind of movement creates a lot more chances as it pulls defenders away from the strikers.

Gareth Williams appears to have adopted a Jan Molby strategy, he is now playing so deep he's almost alongside the Paddy's. Whilst i thought he retained possesion really well, it did explain to me why we struggle to break teams down normally. We need more varied movement from our midfielders otherwise we will continue to struggle.

Don't get me wrong i thought last night was a real step in the right direction (Fryatt was quality) but we need to kick on now - maybe with some more fresh blood.

HENDO 4- Yet again we looked dreadful at defending there corners, there didnt look to be any communication between him and his defenders.

MCAULEY 6- Apart from his goal i thought he played pretty average

MCCARTHY 5- Average game a defender letting in 4 goals against any side is awful

KISNORBO 5- See above

MAYBURY 6- Average in the defending department but looked decent going forward

LEVI 5- Thought he was nothing short of average i personally think he didnt have the best of games and this was one of the worst i've seen him play

HUGHES 6.5- Apart from some poor defending i thought he played q. well i was impressed with his passing disappointed he came off.

TIATTO N/A- Shame he came of injured hope its not for long!!

WILLIAMS (FIRST HALF 7 SECOND HALF 3) Overall 5- He looked a completely different player in the second half, was lazy took way too long on the ball some of his passes were poor. But in the first half he was quality i was a little disappointed he never came off instead of Hughes

HUME 7- Thought he played well at times he got stuck in shame he didnt really have many chances. Humey and Fryatt linked up well again.

FRYATT 7.5- Really thought he played well he really does look like his back. He passed well, took on players and more importantly he scored. Looked a lot more confident after the goal, i really hope we will see Fryatt play like this week in week out again.

Subs:

Weso 7- Played well, did his job tackled and passed well and his goal was really good. Other then vs Villa this was the best i've seen him play!!

Stearman 5- Didnt have much time to do anything and i just didnt notice him when he came on

Cadamateri 5- Put a couple of decent balls in the box shame we dont have a strong/tall striker to head them in
