All your thoughts in here. ;)

We were always going to lose when Montella scored, no one with enough leadership to carry the team through tough periods of play.

Well, what do you say, lots of fight and spirit, had it won just after half time, then left too much space out wide, just threw it all away. when will players keep playing til the whistle blows. At least it sounds like we gave them a good fight. I'm gonna go and open a bottle of vodka

 :icon_cry:

Really needed an experienced head like Matty Holland to help when under pressure, but we have given a decent account of ourselves and personally I think it is more important that we concentrate getting the league form right. I just hope we can start replicating these cup performances in the championship.

Too inexperienced. Need a player at 3-1 to tell us 'to calm down, keep the ball, 10 minutes, they have shot it'.

I am proud that my side once again proved themselves against Premier opposition and it took a last-minute goal with a slight hint of luck to beat us.

Still listening to RL they say we deserved more. Is it really that hard to motivate the players for a league match...

I am not 100% blaming Kelly & Stowell for this as it has to be in the players minds as well, they have to want to win matches. They obviously wanted to win at Fulham today, and credit to them for a good performance against Premiership opposition.

If this is what they can do (and it wansnt a one off, more than matched Villa this season) why the **** can't these players play with the same passion every week?
