Thought they all played very well for most of the game, apart from Fulham's first & last goals. Even Hughes getting stuck in & making runs into the area. Williams all over the park, some beautiful passes. They all desrve praise. I think what made the difference towards the end was mcAuley slowed up by injury then having to go off - he had been superb till then.

The last goal should never have been - like somebody said earlier : play to the whistle! Everybody just stopped when the lino flagged.

Weso's goal has to be contender for goal of the season - superbly taken. He looked tonight as if he is finally getting back to full fitness.

They proved again that they play better against footballing teams. I hope that means they will be up for it again on Saturday - Brum are the nearest thing in the championship. Hope the crowd gets behind them half as well as they did tonight.

You have to take the positive things from the game OG. My vcash has begun its long road to recovery:icon_bigg

Well, what did we learn tonight?

I learned that McAulay struggles for pace, but is the best defender at the club, that McCarthy flaps far too much and positionally was found wanting against good players, Kisnorbo the same.
I learned that Hughes is not a right winger, although gave his all, that Porter bottled running against defenders away from home, that Williams looked quality and Weso is getting better, but in midfield still no general.
I learned that up front Fryatt leads the line superbly at times and Hume gives it all.
I learned that there is no point in Cadamarteri, or any right winger, delivering far post crosses when we have Porter and Hume there.
I learned that at times we have what it takes to compete at this level and also were the better side tonight for long periods.

I walked away proud of City. Sure there are things to learn, and we are rebuilding, but in all they worked hard tonight.

Most of all, I learned that the Blue Army is fantastic, and no matter what, we have Premiership support. To all those travelling home to Leicester tonight, I salute you. Superb.

I learned that if you score three goals, make sure the other side dont score more......

I cannot get my head around this, we feckin lost after being 2 goals up! and everyone was upbeat......WE FECKIN LOST
This is just not good enough, the defence was a real joke, every time a cross came in I thought Fulham were going to score again, we looked very shakey at the back, and Porter looked out of his depth against premiership opposition. Maybury should be shot at dawn too.....
It was a good performance but nothing near as good as people are making out, remember we scored 3 but let 4 in

Exactly.

What a joke crowd from Fulham - 11,222 with 3k City support.

We got 15k with 1,5k from Fulham.

Despite the weekday match, the different in away support speaks all.

Hazza, what difference does the crowd make...... Fulham and their small following won.

There were a couple, and only a couple, of positives from the match.

We took the goals well.......
James Wesolowski has finally shown what he can do.......
Matty Fryatt looks like he is back in form........

We sat too deep after going 3-1 up and stopped doing what we were doing well up to that point.

We were playing against an experienced Italian International who got them out of the shite, because before he came on they were doing nothing up front.

I agree with whomever said that Maybury should have made sure he took Routledge out - but we did not play to the whistle.

he went missing in the second half though

The biggest positive of the night was finding a dogs bollux kebab house on Kilburn High Road.
Kebabs were top notch....:038: :038:

Only just got in.

Gutted about the result.Still pretty pissed.

Great atmosphere tonight and great to see the legnd that is Steve Walsh sitting with the City fans and joining in all the songs.

Spineless & Pathetic.

No leadership, players arguing, no team understanding, no team spirit.

Can't out my finger on exactly what went wrong, I just know something did.

Fulham were there for the taking, we had them. We cannot close a deal I'm afraid. I came away from there again very pissed off.

what shit support they have..

from what I could see it looked like their last goal seemed a little odd.. linesman waving his flag I can only assume the ref overuled him and played advantage

Also I think that area is a shithole, as is their shed ground =/

one thing I will poinmt out about Fulham, the quality of their crosses from open play and set pieces was excellent all game, whereas ours.. well wasn't..

Nothing there that wasn't already known

And also as was already known the club has excellent support and a manager who is a loser by trade. He is always way too satisfied with defeats and is seeing opportunity after opportunity thrown away.

MM isn't a fool and I would be amazed providing the takeover takes place (touching wood) that he tolerates the lack of leadership which all stems from not having the right person in charge.

Could be another rout on Saturday. All depends on how we react.

What do mean by "another rout"?? There hasn't been one yet!
