So you're agreeing with me Hazza?

In certain instances yes but to expect anymore than what we got ( even at 3-1) was a tad over-optimistic. I would not put our second half performances down to bad play, just a lack of experience and young naivety.

Just read the Guardian report of the match, I think this sums my attitude

''in which Leicester came very close to taking the mickey.

It was when that laid-back attitude spread to their defence that they got in trouble. Ten minutes before the interval Tomasz Radzinski evaded two defenders to cross from the left, both centre-backs were distracted by Heidar Helguson and Brian McBride was quite alone at the far post as he chested the ball down and turned it in. Maybury, a little over a yard away, showed all the signs of being asleep. ''

I repeat though last night I think they let themselves down through being unexperienced and not through a lack of trying and effort.

I was abit surprised when at 3-1 we didn't switch to 4-5-1 but I suppose we weren't on front long enough to try it:102:

I wondered about puttung Stearman on for Hughes, and having MacAulay, McCarthy and Kismybum accross the middle at the back...

Or NEJ on has Left Back, move Maybury to Right Midfield and take Hughes off? But it doesn't matter Alex..If my Auntie had bollox she'd be my uncle.....which reminds me its Auntie Richard's Birthday on Sunday

one thing i will say is that the linesman was waving his flag very eratically, really giving it some which automatically puts it in the players mind some thing is wrong. other than that i thought it was a disgrace how we ****ed up. got on tv at the end.

one other thing, the biggest possitive for me all night was that LEICESTER fans actually stood up all the way through the game and gave it there all. it was so refreshing to see the whole crowd (minus first 10 rows) carry on standing after kick off.

well done blue army, yet again we were kicked in the teeth but yet again we take it like men.

Now the same for every away game please

it should be like it for home games not just just away games

more than likely written by one of those boring ****s called fulham fans.

Spot on Sparky

edit- Although I would add that Hume wasn't that good last night and Porter did struggle, but I think he will make the step up soon

Essentially we have the makings of a team to get promoted, just the attitude and tactics need to change

I think we have all known that for a long time. ;)

I can't believe people are going on about all this "brave performance" and "we can take positives" malarchy. We were 3-1 up and playing extremely well. They were just as bad as we were at the back. Cristanval is probably the worst Prem centre half i've seen. We should have never lost this game. I'm absolutely gutted!

Also did any one notice at the end when all the players came over to clap the fans that there was one person who didn't, he just walked off towards the tunnel and away from the rest of the team ..... Maybury. He was crap all match and capped it off in the last minute when he had a chance to cross and he toe-poked it off the opposite side of the pitch for a throw. He's a disgrace. Matty Fryatt MOM imo. Thought he was excellent last night and took his goal very well

Wonderful post, agree with every last word.

Maybury was appalling, and the last chance of the game, we were all piled around their box and he does that. Bad attitude from a bad player

I think we all agree that Maybury doesn't fit the bill.
But the majority of players did all they could do last night to win. Youngsters like Porter and Weso shouldn't be run down for not being experienced, and shit players like hughes and Maybury aren't going to stop giving goals away until we get rid of them.

3 players away from being a quality side. 4 at maximum. Bring on the January transfer blitz. Andy Cole, Richard Hughes, Matt Holland, Noe Pamarot? then we can forget about players like Maybury and Hughes cocking things up for the rest of them...

has anyone though what happens if Levi gets injured? who else could play left wing?

Spot on, they couldn't have done any more to get the win.

However, the problem was doing more to avoid losing. We had already won it, the job was done.

Fulham didn't win last night's game, we lost it.
