gutted that we can't lock a game down 2 goals up against anyone

if you concede 4 goals, you can hardly expect to win a game

oh well, on the plus side, take a bow people of Leicestershire, we were awesome, and their 'fans' must have been Japanese tourists sold tickets to "a club in Chelsea"

if Wigan & Fulham can be established Premiership teams, we can get in the Champions' League!

oh and big up Stevie Walsh, pity he didn't bring his boots

oh and nice to meet Melts, BG, MHS & Jessel

As my mate texted me last night “oh well it could be worse, we could have Birmingham on Saturday!”

I learned that if you score three goals, make sure the other side dont score more......

I cannot get my head around this, we feckin lost after being 2 goals up! and everyone was upbeat......WE FECKIN LOST
This is just not good enough, the defence was a real joke, every time a cross came in I thought Fulham were going to score again, we looked very shakey at the back, and Porter looked out of his depth against premiership opposition. Maybury should be shot at dawn too.....
It was a good performance but nothing near as good as people are making out, remember we scored 3 but let 4 in

We got out played at the back. Just to remind you we're 18th in the Champ and they are 12th in the Prem and when they upped theior tempo we struggled to cope. Things to learn. You're delusional if you don't take positives from a night like that.

So I am delusional then, I just dont like losing and after being 2 goals up as well. They do not know how to shut shop up in a game. Yes we played well.
Why are we still 18th in the Championship then if you take take positives from every game they play, its obvious then a positive in one game will be a negative in another.

Brum beat Newcastle last night, Swansea beat Sheff Utd, so why are we different then?

I'd just like to thank the BBC for all the regular updates. It went 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, and then suddenly 3-3, and finally 4-3.

Absolute crap, BBC, absolute crap.

Birmingham beat the same side that won at Tottenham only 4 days ago. They were rampant last night, hope there not in the same mood on Saturday.

Totally correct

We are a struggling Chamionship side - of course we are going to get carved open by a half-decent Premiership outfit (especially if your best centre half is stuck at right back). Our players aren't as good as theirs - well what a ding dong surprise that is :icon_roll

But we got stuck in and showed passion and spirit - for the third game running. Everything about last night is a positive for me. Feckin' good effort all round. Some of the people complaining are the same ones who couldn't even be bothered turning up for the original game because they expected us to cave in, and we didn't.

The time to moan was when the team have played like wank for most of the season - and it will be again if we return to those ways having shown to everyone precisely what we are capable of doing

The support last night was nothing short of remarkable.

As soon as we conceded each goal the crowd was back behind the team singing and chanting. Even when the 4th went in within 10 seconds the crowd were singing again.

Brilliant support and standing all night with the Rambo wannabees arm locking you out of the ground.

Nice to see the 10 security guards that barged their way through the crowd prior KO take down and out that old man before he destroyed all 10 of them with a continuous string of deadly round house kicks

Why can they not close a game down? and what was with the substitutions? Danny Cad should have come on a lot earlier, its not just about the team its about the leadership qualities from the sidelines. RK was out done last night

Agreed Homer....MaCauley should never be playing at right back HIS PLACE IS CENTRE-HALF and is a hard man in his rightful position and is more aware of whats around him than MaCarthy, who gets dragged all over the place trying to do too much.

IMO a team tends to mirror it's managers character and attitude, and like Kelly the side is too nice, we lack that winning mentality and culture.

Take last night and the winning goal, Routledge should never have been allowed to get into the position to commit the "foul" on Maybury, instead he should have been kicked so fecking hard that he ended up sat in the stand next to Milan. We then commit the cardinal sin of not playing to the whistle (a schoolboy error) and concede a last minute winner.

Kelly's post match analysis should have identified the positives like the hard work and the way we had competed over two hard fought encounters against Fulham, but he also should voiced his anger and dismay at the lack of concentration shown and the way we surrendered another match winning situation.

Too me Kelly seems to revel in painting a negative picture, always focusing on the strengths of the opposition and continually pointing out our own weaknesses, a draw at Colchester is greeted with great glee, it was no special achievement, and basking in glorius defeat to a mid table premiership side, surely this attitude must rub off onto the squad.

I want to see a manager irate at how we have thrown away so many winning positions, I want a manager who instills a winning mentality into the squad, a man who won't accept glorius defeat.

As always atothez spot on imo.:038:

RK was very abrupt when asked about the MM take over on the radio last night after the match. I think he knows he is going. A dead man walking IMO
