he's made some decent signings, including bringing in some fast wingers, big centre backs and a proven Striker.

By all reports the games against Palace and Birmingham were some of our best performances for a long time.

He's not yet won the league, but as far as I can see, he's achieved almost all of what he can so far.

Oh right..we shall see tomorrow,well you will I won't

Why?

We already know that he's bought in some "fast wingers, big centre backs and a proven Striker". I don't need to wait until tomorrow for that.

Just because they are fast doesn't mean they are good, and a big Centre Back doesn't mean they are good...Brian Carey was big

What goods has he delivered exactly ?

I've just been told that he has literally delivered some goods, in a white van, round the back of the stadium into one of those big garage doors. General goods, I believe they were. Delivered. Boom!

I never said they were good. They fit the bill, it's what we've been looking for.

Yes, we would ideally like proven top flight players, but we aint a proven top flight team. As far as Leicester City concerned, I think NP has found the players for its level.

So, so far I think he has delivered what is expected of him, no more, no less.

You said they were decent signings that would imply to me that you think they are good:102: I'm sorry I must have misunderstood what you meant.
I wouldn't congratulate or judge Pearson on his signings until they have proved they are up to it and like I said I'm bothered about the Full Back situation

They are decent signings in terms of square pegs in square holes. And by all other accounts so far, they appear to be decent players.

He has only signed Dyer who is a proven performer in this league so I'm very much waiting to see how they perform before having any opinion on them individually or collectively

Until they have kicked a ball for us in a competitive football match for us, then are all completely unknown ***** as far as i am concerned

To say they are 'decent' on the back of a couple of pre-season friendlies is bordering on Blue Mongieness

I'll pass judgment at five o'clock tomorrow

I for one am happy to see Melts employ a sense of belief and optimism, it gives me hope that maybe one day I too will believe in a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

As for the full backs, I don't think we are in desperate trouble; I'm sure there is a contingency plan for Mattock, and we can plug in at right back when needs must. Would have been nice to keep Chambers, but he got an offer from a bigger club and we couldn't stand in his way :icon_conf

I'm putting a bright smile on and it's going to last the season long.

Midfield will be the key to whether the fullbacks get a roasting.Wingers who will ask question of teams we play should keep the opposition on the back foot. Two big lads as Centre back,Goalkeeper I have faith in.midfield with goalscoring potential...

NP.May go with three centre backs if needs be.....

Please tell me this is not a dream!!!!!! :) :icon_bigg :icon_bigg

We need goals, goals and more goals. It cost us dear last year, as long as we score loads of goals the defence will take care of itself.

Yeah, it is frustrating when players play out of position, but less out of neccesity than choice.

Holloway chose to play players out of position, if Gilbert goes down injuredI'm sure we will see NP replace him through a loan deal.
