Superb it is. Very clever and laugh out loud funny at times which you dont get very often anymore.

I reckon YV is like Nessa (whatever happened to YV eh?)

I don't find it funny, but then I don't seem to get most "popular" humour, such as Little Britain.

It fizzled out to a disappointing end. I felt they did not really know how to take it forward, the last 2 episodes were not really funny at all.

It reminds me of a british film split up in to episodes, as opposed to a traditional sit com. I think the last 2 episodes reflected that.

Originally Gavin and Stacey was only supposed to be a short film based around the wedding.

I heard that there will be a Christmas special but no 3rd series. Dont know how true it is.

Corden has said they have written/doing a 3rd episode but they dont want to do a 3rd series if there is no plot. They will only do it if there is a story to tell.

Having never seen an episode of this before I decided to buy series 1 on DVD last week.

Have just finished watching it and have to say it is excellent.

Also it's the first DVD I have ever bothered watching the extras.
