Even more idle speculation in The Sun?
Leicester backroom coach Gerry Taggart, 39, is a shock contender to take over at League Two strugglers Grimsby Town.

Doubt if Gerry will even get a sniff
They'll appoint Russell Slade

Have managers been more successful the second time round at a club?
This is a funny post regarding Grimsby Town.......

If he wants to be a manager and not just a coach i'm sure he'll take the chance if he gets offered the opportunity
I agree also he needs to start building experience and with it a reputation as a Manager. I doubt very much that he will be given the opportunity to take on the job here without some sort of experience and track record. IMO he has to take a job like this to prove whether he has the ability to be a decent manager before he is let loose at a club like ours. Sometimes you have to take one step back to take two forwards.
Sometimes if you are Paula Abdul you have to take one step and two steps back.

Which two forwards do you think he will take?

That word has probably just triggered some sort of internet police investigation :icon_lol:I have looked up Grimsby Town managers on Wilipedia.
