how on earth can you say that levin is no good, he inherited a team of hangers on, 90 percent on a nest egg and the wrong side of 30. the team is now clearly playing playing football, rather than punting the thing 40 yds upfield, the squad is looking promising especially with money undoubtedly going to be made available for next season from the fa cup run. the damage was done under mickey adams's stewardship, dont get me wrong what he did for us was a miracle in obtaining promotion but we were too predictable and easy to beat!
we need pace at the back, as the rest of the championship has realised that in order to bveat leicester is to get men behind the ball and hit us with a long ball over the center of defence, as we are lacking pace job done, not pretty but effective!

watch next season! we need to build to go up and stay up KEEP THE FAITH!

You seriously think we have a better side now than when Micky Adams got us promoted? Or even last year in the premiership.

You seriously think our strikeforce now is better than Ferdinand, Dickov, Bent, Scowcroft and Deane???

You are correct we don't have a side as good as those two sides were but lets be honest the side that got us promoted was the same side that got us relagated the year before. The players were in the main only here because try as we might to offload them nobody wanted them.

And we can't compare the current side to last years side as we were in the prem as that is the reason we could attract and pay those so called better players. They were also the players who apart from Bent, Dickov, Thatcher weren't exactly "class" if were honest.

I strongly believe that we are building a strong looking side to challenge promotion next year (if we get the chance!).
CL is building a young looking side for the future that are alrady playing the most attractive football we have had at the filbert street for the last 4 seasons, if we had a striker out of any of the top ten teams we would be in the play off places or better.

Heres hoping for 3 points tommorrow!

IMO we will stay up and it will be quite comfortable, we have 2 games in hand on most of the teams around us, we are playing good football and creating bucket loads of chances and yes it is heart breaking to see us struggling like we are, I truly believe we will give a team a serious hammering over the next few weeks. As for David Connolly maybe now is the time to cash in and bring in a couple of strikers to replace him, I am sure there would be some takers at a decent price. CL is doing a decent job of trying to change the whole set up of the team mid season, whilst trying to get results, once we pick up a win we will go on a run that will take us well away from relegation, starting at Burnley.

I believe that if we sold Connolly , he's going to be one of those players who will start finding the back of the net as soon as he pulls another clubs shirt on. IMO its a little more complicated than the stat that proves DC is not scoring enough goals for us.
I work with an hammers fan who told me at the start of the season that we had got a bloody GOOD grafting player who was a better finisher than Dickov. Sadly the goals have not come, but to be fair to DC how many teams have we played off the park only to be let down by him wasting golden chances.IMO not many. We are not a good enough team in general and have hardly created bucket loads of chances to be able to slate Connolly. I remember some of the home games against Brighton and Watford where the midfield gave no service to the front men for the whole 90 mins.
Also i work with a brummie fan who reckons that Muzzy is a waste of time.Thats the same player who as been one of our best performers over the last 7-8 years. IMO CL will sign more players in the summer and that coupled with a change in style of play could make the difference next season. I don't believe Connolly is a bad player , we just need to find the right blend and style to bring the best out of him.If we can play like we did at Charlton then maybe we are not as far away as the doom merchants think

We won't go down. 97% of the fans won't let it happen. We have got some fantastic supporters who love this club, who follow them home and away, who bleed Blue leicester blood that won't let it happen. We have got to be optimistic, and we have got to keep the faith in Levein and the squad. And to those 3% that are whining and moaning...you are not wanted. We need to cheer the lads on, to let them know that we are with them, not moan at them and make them feel under pressure. You will be the ones that end up destroying all the confidence that we are trying to give. Let's go out there tomorrow all guns blazing. Sing like you've never sung before, whether we are winning, drawing or losing. Cheer the lads at the final whistle, and show them your appreciation. We are Leicester City, we are the best football club ever, and we are staying up!

well said DurhamFox i agree 100%. if you are going to be a wanker and slate the team and manager dont support the team and dont pay your hard earned cash. i pay my hard earned cash to go down the walkers cos i love sticking by the team. i think CL is a great man, he is bringing in the right players and we are playing decent football, not just hoofing it uppitch all day. yes Ferdi, Bent, Dickov, Scowy was a good strikeforce but is that all your basing it on? MDV hasnt had time to proove himself yet baring in mind he isnt fully match fit and if we need a new striker i trust CL to bring someone decent in, and not do a MA and get everyone above the age of 33 (no offence to those over 33 but im sure u know what i mean). now next time we are at the walkers lets have some real singing and real atmosphere. its what the team needs. everyone who goes to the away games act like u do there, charlton, reading, blackpool, ipswich. lets be like that. non stop singing!
