Gilbert has signed for Sheff Wed in spite of the fact that we have no LB. :icon_eek: :icon_conf :icon_conf :icon_conf

how much, if we have not made our money back on him what a waste.

It's an "undisclosed fee"..

It's absolutely disgraceful really. Even if we made our money back on him, which I doubt we have, then it is shocking business from Levein. He signed him in the summer for £200,000 and then after 5 appearances realised he's not good enough! The fact that any manager can decide that quickly after buying a player that he doesn't want him is terrible, and is another sign for me that Levein just doesn't know what he's doing.. We have no LB, Gilbert was good enough for CL to want him, yet then decides to get rid after just a couple of games, despite the fact that Gilbert must've done fairly well at Sheff Weds for them to want him after the loan. We needed a LB, he bought one then ships him straight back out.

Pathetic really.

Should've kept Jordan Stewart, as I said when we sold him. I liked Jordan


Doesn't really fill me with confidence for when Levein goes striker shopping this month

Jordan had "PREMEIRSHIP" ambitions.

I think Jordan left with the same contract deal thing as Dickov and co.

CL has clearly just fallen out with him IMO. I saw him and he wasn't very good, but no need to sell so early. Blatenly a bust up!

Also seems odd the OS wouldn't report it, prehaps CL asked them not to, i.e. less bad news on one day?
 
Look, Gilbert was shite, and only took a few minutes to suss that one out. As for Jordan Stewart, he was even worse. If CL has made a mistake fair play to him to get rid of quick. Just wish the board would do the same....
 
if gilbert was that shite then levein is an arse for even thinking about buying the player let alone forking out that amount for him.............inspired stuff gaffer :icon_roll
