Thought you liked them, praising them not too long back.Whats a matter not Goth enough for you nowadays ?

No, what I meant was, who wants to be on that ****ing awful programme for more than 30 seconds. Those two blokes need to be killed, quartered, tarred and feathered. Then burnt just to make sure. Pair of ****ing unfunny shirt lifters.

They played 'Flowers and Football Tops' by the way but it did only last about 30 seconds

Next Single to be 'Flowers and Football Tops, released on Feb 23rd.Comes with some live tracks including Polmont on my Mind live at Polmont

I have a mate who runs a pub owned by Punch Taverns and if what he says is right they will get very little help from Punch Taverns

I first attended a gig at The Charlotte at the ripe old age of 38 :icon_lol:

Can't say that I was overly impressed with it as a venue, but I can understand the nostalgia some may have with the place.

I know a few people who have played their and they have always complained about the acoustics and the sound engineer there, an opinion supported when I have seen other bands play.

Oh and a midly interesting factoid, Oasis played the Charlotte for about £50, a month or so before they were signed to a label, they then went back and demanded more money for the gig they had played(!), they were told to do one.

Strange that because I know the guy who doers the sound for Puressence and he says the sound and acoustics in the Charlottte are amongst some of the best in the Country. It may just suit the Puressence sound though:102:

I just prefer little venues,I can understand people preferring the more luxurious venues you get nowadays

Have fond memories of the place years ago when spending most school lunch times playing pool. I feel its always shame when any live music venue closes. Im surprised the Shed is still going :102:
