Going to Cardiff ??

Can we PLEASE go and support LEICESTER CITY not, repeat not, ENGLAND when we go to Cardiff, it drives me bluddy mad the constant England chanting, we`re there to give our support and backing to our club NOT country !!

We can't even use the excuse that singing for England is supporting the team, as only 2 or 3 of the players will be English. Cardiff have probably got more English players than us!

Why would it even bother the Cardiff fans anyway? I wouldn't exactly be devastated to be reminded that I'm not Welsh!

And it's not as if they don't hear it each and every week, either. It's pathetic. I wish City fans in particular, and football fans in general, could muster a few more witty, original songs, like in "the good old days"...

ive been to see cardiff a few times from when i went to uni in wales, and from what i recall its always the cardiff fans that start the nationalist chants off. its only right as an englishman that you respond.

Depends how you view it webbo, i always found it a laugh and just light hearted, i have many welsh friends and we always had a laugh about the welsh/english banter at the matches. at least there was never any of that "town full of bombers" rubbish or racist chanting.

Just been having a look at the prices for this game:

Adults and Seniors standing £10 - sitting ... eeerrr... still £10


Kids sitting £1 - standing... bigger eeerrr... £10 !!!




So Adults can sit for no more than it costs them to stand - but kids have to pay 10 times more for the privilege of standing rather than sitting!
