Not really a death or black metal fan, If I were I'd just listen to scandinavian groups. Met these guys whom you may like:

I did like Quorthon though, not for his music (Bathory) but for his sense of humour and his cat. Had a couple of good sessions with him at the end of the 90's didn't know he'd died until recently.
