Google Calendar Sharing

I have a calendar in my Google calendar that is shared with my wife via her gmail email address. At the minute, when she adds an event, I get an SMS message but when I add one, she doesn't. Is there any way to add her to get SMS messages for this calendar only?

I think we're with with T-mobile/EE

Will ask our IT android freak when he gets in. Will be good to know as we're moving to Android from BB soon.

Cheers. A long Google suggests I can manually turn on notifications for that calendar in her account. Don't know her password though as she never uses it other than on her phone.
