Fully agree, but I thought the ref wasn't strong enough, that's why they got away with it. Alexander should have been sent off for his tackle on Martin. He was that late and intentional that he caught him as Martin he was advancing forward with ball in hand when he was brought down. Once the ref let him off with a yellow that released them to play rugby which our lot found hard to cope with. Another bit of education for our lot in this division. Think we'll find more teams playing like this in future now somebody shown them how to do it. Need stronger and better ref.

If this had been in the last 5 minutes instead of the first 5 minutes he would have gone!

we certainly looked lightweight in midfield on Saturday, nobody made time to put their foot on the ball and nobody supported the man with the ball well enough. Max looked out of sorts, but to be honest few of them looked confident enough on Saturday to change things.

From listening to the game, this would appear to be accurate. It is interesting, therefore, that no attempt was made to strengthen the midfield. The substitutions, apart from Tunchev for the injured Gilbert, were all to the attack and, the more strikers that we played, the more it became apparent that the service to them was the problem.
Pearson has done very well so far but, I have not always been too sure about his substitutions (e.g. regularly bringing Dichov on in unlikely positions) and I think that he should, at least share the blame for Saturday. Gradel is young, he will have bad games but, by gum, he's already had some good ones too!

I forgot about that - we were obviously cheated and robbed by a bunch of anti-Leicester bastards

It's all a conspiracy against our club, and nobody is to blame

Not at all, we were very poor, but you can't argue the ref was incompitant and their player should have gone.

Also don't say this is what the ref's are like in the division, as bar the one on Saturday every ref we have had this season has been much better than all of those last season, I think Boc mentioned a similar view elsewhere, so it's not just me.

Maybe - but so should Max Gradel

Fact is they played tight and hard (don't get excited, alex), and we didn't have a feckin' clue what to do

And if any scouts were in the stadium from any other League One clubs, then they will now know precisely what to do when they play us

The one at Cheltenham was a gump. All our players had to do was have a moan and he'd give em a free-kick. Also disallowed a perfectly good goal.

Quite right, Homer.

It is now that we'll see what NP is made of....because as H said, Millwall have just demonstrated what sides need to do against us.

Bollocks to the ref. That's what you get at this level, so tough titty

They simply played hard, and we shat ourselves and didn't know what to do. It certainly wasn't 'rugby' (or even ruby) - much of it was well within the rules of the game. Our players simply hid instead of standing up to be counted.

I don't even think they were a very good side - just pretty well organised, and got stuck in. Plus they'd done their homework.
I doubt they'll finish in the top six, to be honest

It was pathetic to watch

It was our fault that we got rolled over, not the officials

I actually agree with that our players hid after they were hit, but I still think the ref bottled it because it was early in the match, hence the match continued in that frame. No complaints we were beat by a team that worked out how to play us. As you said not pretty to watch but it did depend on the ref interpretation of things.

Should be fun when Leeds come to town. They seem to struggle every week to keep a full team on the park, probably be a bloodbath.

But let's not forget that we demonstrated what we needed to do in the 4 other games. For the first 20 minutes a thought Millwall were terrible, we played some good football as we have in previous games but this time against the run of play we conceded rather than scoring. In the other games the turning points have gone with us. They packed the defence and we didn't break it down, it reminded me of a typical hard fought away F.A Cup victory.

It's certainly a test for us now but more in keeping confidence than a question of ability. Although I do agree with some that King looks like he's making up the numbers because we have no better option at the moment.
