Not usually a fan of guitar solos, find mostve them really boring, but Neil Young is the man when it comes to them, especially "Southern Man" and "Down by the River"

I think a lot of people underestimate the power of a well-constructed guitar solo. See Dann Huff... to my mind a song isn't really complete without a little interlude of some kind and a guitar solo is can work wonders.
