You don't really need a teacher - I taught myself. It's just one of those 'if you want to do it - stick to it' things. Everyone is crap to begin with.. there is plenty of information available for free on the net and failing that you can get hold of some beginners books pretty cheap. Particularly if you just want to learn some basic chords and about keys etc.

It's a pretty good acoustic guitar, but it seems out of tune and for a start I am not sure how to tune it properly.

I bought all the books and tried to teach myself but after a while it just seemed like I was getting nowhere and it has been sitting in its case for about two years now.

Really would love to master it though.

You need a little battery powered tuner for a start. You cant hope to learn how to play an out of tune guitar.

Yes, it told me what track you was playing, that's all I knew. I then saw you just after setting up a gig or something

What do you have to do then, what's the story behind it?, how does it work? etc etc.

You start out playing small gigs, you choose your character and guitar. as you play gigs your set list increases and you get cash to buy equipment as well getting sponsorship deals. You start to climb the ladder and play bigger venues. If you mess the song up too much you get booed off :icon_lol: Its immense fun and when you knwo the track you are playing you really get in to it :icon_redf

The x-plorer guitar is really good and intuitive. it even knows when you tilt it upright to play a solo and that makes the crowd go wild :icon_lol:

I think theres 70 songs plus downloadables, Ive got about 15 so far I think. You basically get 5 new tracks each time you complete a gig.

Now you're exciting me. I might have to pull the black spandex back out of the wardrobe and get practicing my knee slides.

Can you make sparks come out of the end of the axe?

Youd definatley like it, the songs are mostly 'rock classics' so right up your street. Was really enjoying playing Wolfmothers 'woman' last night :icon_bigg

Its expensive but worth it IMO. I understnad you can also play co-op online one on bass and one on lead :icon_lol: Rumours of a drum kit version out next year :icon_lol:

Testostorone is pouring out of me as I type, I need to buy this now. I've just had a go on my real guitar and it didn't get it out of my system. It's only a 5 metre wire to my amp and I'm restricted as to how far I can slide :icon_lol:

I'm already boucing around my house and air guitaring to the Murderdolls, I feel I may explode if I don't go and buy this now

If I disappear for an hour you know where I've gone :081:

I've seen it on Amazon for £62, but I suspect I'm gonna have to pay a lot more if I want it today. :icon_cool :icon_razz :026:

Dont mean to piss on your bonfire but I couldnt find it anywhere other than online. PC World advertise it for about £65 but they dont have it in stock, or didnt earlier in the week. I got it on next day from amazon
 
The dutyful wife has noticed my anguish at me jumping around the house with nothing in my hand and has just pulled out of the front drive to embark on her journey into Leicester to find said game.:icon_lol:

**** knows how much this stupid idea is going to cost me now :eek: She's loose and spending money on me, this won't go financially unpunished I'm confident of that :icon_lol:

Could be strumming along within 2 or 3 hours
