Hull boss Taylor tops Tottenham chairman's shortlist
tribalfootball.com - April 5, 2004

Hull City boss Peter Taylor has emerged as a shock candidate for the vacant manager's job at Tottenham.
The People says that Taylor - a former Spurs player - has emerged as the club's No1 target.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants caretaker boss David Pleat to remain at White Hart Lane and retain his title as director of football while Taylor, who also managed Brighton and Gillingham plus the England Under-21s, would be appointed coach.

Levy believes the pair could work in partnership and bring the glory days back to the north London club.

That'd be great!

He can really screw them up!

Bring back the Glory days? Hmmm, I doubt it.

If this is true it makes me want to stay up just so we can sing - Peter Taylor what a wanker what a wanker for 90 mins!!

Although after his shock exit from Brighton when we got relegated (e.g we would both be playing in Div 1) im not so sure we would ever see the day?!

Hopefully true. That means we would see Junior Lewis and Ian Marshall in the Premier again
