Excellent article. I think it's always a stupid and pointless idea to only do something good for one day of the year. Leading an environmentally-friendly life style for one day of the year isn't going to achieve anything!

It's not dissimilar to the idea that Christmas is a time of goodwill, and that you should be nice for one day of the year. Why not make the effort to be kind and considerate every day of the year?
