I was thinking about this at lunch and the car industry, espcially in america, has gone the smae way by releasing loads of updated version of older models.

I suppose that the film industry is similar to the music one. Look at all the 80's bands doing tours, hundreds of them.

Like music, the film world can't find anything new and bright at the moment so go back 20 years to re-do what was popular then. It's a regular thing.

Thing is, what happens (if we're all around) in another 20 years? Re-makes and re-regurgitations of re-issues and old re-makes of re-makes?
 
I can't stand the 80's. Ok I was born in that decade but very little else positive came out of it:icon_bigg .
Seriously though the music is shite, the films are shite and I can't stand all this 80's revival stuff.
