manager makes the club what it is, always has been the case and always will be.

when a club gets a good manager the worst mistake they can make is get complacent and think it is easy to replace a successful manager.

Pearson may not have achieved a lot in many peoples minds, but he certianly has been a significant improvement over our recent managers.

Pearson isn't the only decent manager in the championship. he's achieved as much (if not less) as someone like Gary Johnson at Bristol City. People are a bit deluded if they think Pearson is automatically the best managerial prospect in the championship because he got us promoted.

I just think it would take about 2 seasons to get someone as good again, assuming MM takes an average 3-4 months to sack the duds and gets it right the 5th time.

Pearson says there has been an interest but you can tell by the interview that he has not instigated the interest.
Therefore it's all down to Mandaric just like the Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Robbie Fowler episode that Martin Allen was having none of.
