2 if we get the right manager. It's a terrible division, we need the right guy to motivate the current crew and then additional 5 players.

Whether we would stay up is a different matter.

The right manager could do it next season, he could have done it this season, most teams I have seen this season have been shite

I'd say

This year - Survival (relegation is still a possibility, lest we for get)
Next season - Consolidation (Get some decent playing staff, let them gel, generate interest from the fans etc)
Two following seasons - Promotion push......

But then again, I'd LOVE to see us up next season.

this season, we will win all our games then make the playoffs and win them and beat all the odds, get backing cus they will be amazing odds

No reason it cannot be achieved next season, teams such as Derby and Watford have both proved that relegation strugglers can be turned into promotion contenders the following season, the key however will be bringing in the right manager.

More than four imo, it takes either an incredibly talented manager or a strong base to build on, we have niether and have to start from scratch

next season. a big overhaul in the summer and possibly a new manager.

You guys voting next season are waaaayyyyy too optimistic!

We have just been taken over by a multi milionaire with excessive footballing knowledge and contacts. This is the moment I have been waiting for for 30 odd years.

If fans can't be optimistic now, when the feck can we

next season we will be fighting for promotion back to the championship ;)

seriously, i think Milan will change the mentality at the club, from 'we are where we are' to 'lets be the best' and this will make a lot of diference. a few good signings and i think we will be challenging next season.

I think the negative atmosphere at the club has been a key factor in the lack of motivation in our players,
