Ive been as guilty as anyone thinking we will be ok.. too many teams worse than us, but i am starting to worry.
I also get the impression some of the players have the same attitude.

BTW i still believe we will stay up, a weeks a long time in football, the past 7 days proves it.
This time next week we will hopefully be sat here smiling (hopefully with a new manager).

2 points from 24 proves we are fecked IMO. Its almost too late to get shot of him, we may need to stick with him and pray.

Unless MON comes back - i would completely agree.

It does feel like we're going headlong into the abyss hoping that somehow CL will demonstrate qualities of motivation, consistent team selection and tactical awareness that quite frankly he possibly hasn't got!!!

If he has to go, who can we get that we can afford, will come, and of course be able to do the job??

Your comment might not be what the OP had in mind when he chose the subject line of this thread, but it surely qualifies for that exact retort.

Unless MoN can be persuaded just give it to Rob Kelly with a couple of players helping him out til the end of the season.

Well I have made it known for months that I don't think he is the man for the job, but then when we got to the transfer window I thought given that we have waited till now we should give him a chance.

I don't see how the answer to our scoring problems is getting in another unproven striker at this level. FFS it isn't rocket science...looking to the future is great, but it we drop another league we won't have a future.

I am now of the opinion that he could get Ronaldino in and destroy him! He is so fecking negative. I wouldn't be thinking about winning If I was in his team.

Please Resign now Levein. I don't care who takes over as long as it is someone who tells this group of players that they CAN win, and to focus on their game rather than what other teams are doing.

Sack the scot!

In that case, MON would be available till the end of the season to help out and save us? His interest in our plight would suggest a great way back into the game for him (if we stay up still a god in Leics, if we go down all CL's fault for getting us into the position).

Not one to say it, but I think we need a miracle if nothing changes in the personell as the past 5 months points to!!!

Feeling very down now.

Did not Mrs O'neil finally loose her fight with her illness before Christmas (or were the reports of her death greatly exagerated?)

I though it was Gary Macs wife who sadly passed away.

Not unless you know something that the rest of us don't.

Can I suggest you delete your crassly insensitive post immediately - or, if past the deadline, immediately contact webbo and ask him to do it for you.

Foxes play down talk of hunt for new coach
NEIL MORRIS

LEICESTER City have denied any link with Martin O'Neill. Reports from the city suggested that current manager Craig Levein's 14 month tenure at the club may be drawing to a close and that he would be replaced until the end of the season by the former Celtic manager, with former Scotland midfielder Gary McAllister initially joining O'Neill in a coaching capacity.

"As a club we don't normally comment on speculation," said Leicester press officer Rachel Cluley, "but I can say there's nothing in this rumour."

It is hardly surprising that there has been speculation that Levein's position is under threat. His Leicester side have taken just two points from the last 21 to leave the club lying one place above the relegation zone. Club sources pointed out, however, that he has been given the go-ahead to buy a striker during the transfer window.

O'Neill has been out of football since leaving Celtic to help care for his sick wife Geraldine. He lives in the South and is understood to have taken a keen interest in the fortunes of his former club, which is now struggling to retain its position in the Coca Cola Championship. McAllister also took a break from football to care for his wife, who lost her battle with cancer shortly before Christmas.

I can understand people supporting Levein, if they truly believe that he is building something very special at this football club, but whenever the back him or sack him argument rears it's head, from what I can see the main argument for keeping him appears to be that there is nobody better out there, which translates to me as not a fashionable enough name.

Look at the cold hard facts, I am pretty certain that there are a hell of a lot less fashionable managers who could get us in a lot healthier position than CL, we are now in the bottom three and sinking fast, what is he going to do to improve it, lets face it yesterday the players confidence should have been sky high after last week, no better time IMO to go out and build a decent run from, what happens we turn in an absolutley gutless performance in what was the biggest game of the season so far, so please tell me why it is better to keep Levein, if we do I would say it is a very good chance we will go down, if we sack him, we may well still go down or we might just lift the gloom, negativity and losing culture that is currently rotting our club to the core.

My suggestion, bring in Brian Little, as I dont believe MON would come back, with Steve Walsh as part of the backroom staff and get some passion back into this feckin club before it dies on its arse.
