Not long ago the trust posted figures showing Levein win % was higher than Gary Macs!! He's not the answer.

I agree Babylon, for me Gary Mac is a similar character to Levein, we need somebody to grab hold of the club and players by the scruff of their necks, that is why I suggested Brian Little coming back with possibly Steve Walsh being intregrated into the backroom staff, we need passion, we need people who understand what this club is about and IMO these two are two people who fully understand what is required, we certainly wouldnt witness too many heartless displays like yesterday.

He atleast know a thing or two about English football. As aposed to that micky mouse rubbish they call footy in Scotland!! Plus he might be able to attract decent players because of his reputation as a great player. Also used to play for us. These things get spirit back up in a club!!

As if they are gonna let Walshie back in the club! They wont even let him down the training ground after his playfull days with teamates wives!!:icon_roll

And I am sure that his current circumstances will maybe have quitened him down, perhaps his past has gone against him when jobs have come up at the club. I am sure if he was given the opportunity to come back he would grasp it with both hands and act with responsiblity.

He is older and wiser now !

hmmmm hadnt thought about Brian Little, but I dont really like the idea of going back. Never really works out. Think rob kelly an a-n-other may be the best bet in financial terms. I honestly cant see who would do it for us, CL doesnt seem to have the technical knowledge/experience for it. I really dont know what the answer is.

One of the callers after the match on radio leics yesterday (yes I know) said something about the club having to train at Loughborough coz the main trainign ground was too far for CL to travel, Any one else heard this, has it been mentioned anywhere else on here?

If so this is a truely shocking attitude for a manager.

Where does he live ffs?

If true - awful. Although I thought they only trained there once a week??

sack him

i like the Brian Little/Walshy combo, we have the players, we dont have the motivation or passion. Levein obviously with his constantly annoying copout excuses are really getting irritating, why cant he just say "Well, we were crap today and something has got to be f****** done about it!! Rahhhhh"

Gary Mac, his record at Cov was ok . To be honest i'd have anyone else at the mo, how the boss of pukka pies?, maybe the chicken balti manager, he seems to be successful at leicester!

I can understand people supporting Levein, if they truly believe that he is building something very special at this football club, but whenever the back him or sack him argument rears it's head, from what I can see the main argument for keeping him appears to be that there is nobody better out there, which translates to me as not a fashionable enough name.

This was the same problem when MA's future was in the balance, plenty of people were backing him because they did'nt know who could replace him. To be fair I think everyone was pleased when CL was appointed, but nobody was really talking about him before MA left. Lets hope something similar happens and lets hope this time the replacement is good enough.

Total rubbish from that caller. They train at Loughborough one day a week (and sometimes not even that when they have a mid-week match), Thursdays, partly to save the training pitches at the club and partly because they have some great facilities at Loughborough.
