hello all
I am mac just signed up to this site, am working overseas so find it hard to keep a check on city.

reference the luton game does any one not agree the RK problems rest soley with his midfield, they were too far apart and appeared to be lacking fitness!
Hume and Fryatt are to far apart, which completely negated playing down the channel football, I have never watched a city team with such a dire mid field performance, thankfully that was the first game I am sure we will get better. Mid table finish will be a good season for us!

Welcome to the mad house!

I agree it was a poor performance by the midfield, our 2 "wingers" in particular. We need attacking minded players, not defensive players like Tiatto and Maybury.

Welcome mate, Your feelings are the general consensus i think.
Plus worst performance by a Right Back for a few years.

If you're just talking about this one match, I think the problems were in all departments. If there was a man-of-the-match award just for LEicester players, they would have had to cancel it.

Oh... and welcome!

Welcome mate. Your assessment is spot on. We need a good wide man and a creative midfielder. Playing both Maybury & Tiatto is very negative.

Welcome!

Yes, our midfield was awful, but the defense was also dire, and the attackers poor! A right bollocking tomorrow morning in order.

Blimey Newton, this site has only been here a few years. We have never been "winning" in that period.

Welcome back to earth everyone. An average team just beat us 2-0 fairly easily..... Great.

Sadly broadly true. When I first started posting on the old filbertstreet.net, we hadn't got promoted to the Prem yet. :icon_sad:

The fact that RK played two defensive wide mid-field players in Maybury and Twatto, and that in the close season, he only signed defensive players shows where his priorities lie. I have a feeling that it is going to be a long, hard season without much creativity to entertain us.

I dont know what your all moaning about, we are only three points off top. I'd take that at the end of the season lol.

And zero points off the bottom - how would you feel about that at the end of the season?

at least we arent right on the bottom... they just better make more of an effort tomorrow night :(
