yeh, gracenote finds every CD I use

Media Player finds all mine, but I am going to check your Gracenote thingy out, I had a quick look at the website but I don't have too much time yet

The "Connect To The Internet" box, does it have a tick in it?

Mine doesn't and it still recognises the CD's

yes, its ticked, but its still not working.

your firewall could be blocking media player.
check it for blocked applications
