This is just a note to say thank-you to everyone for their kind comments on the song and to those of you who have made the club aware of it and also to update those of you interested on its progress. I’m genuinely overwhelmed by how popular the song has been and how many people seem to have enjoyed it… this time last week I would never have thought I’d be doing an interview for the Leicester Mercury about it!

The song requires some minor alterations to the lyrics and also the audio quality needs to be improved for it to be played at the ground, so a new version will be recorded. I’ve been contacted by a City fan who works at a recording studio and he is generously going to help me with it. Whilst not wanting to deviate too far from the original, there may well be some drums/electric guitar/bass added. As I said, I’ll be making some small changes to the lyrics, if anyone has any opinions as to who, if anyone should also be included, let me know. I’m thinking possibly Banks/Shilton/Gary Mills and I’m also still keen to find a rhyme for Theo Zagorakis!

Due to my work commitments and those of the studio, it may take a few weeks to get done but I’m hoping if all goes well, it’ll be ready for the Cheltenham game at the Walkers on 4th April at the latest.

Once again, thanks for your part in making the song so popular. I’ll post this message on a couple of the other forums so apologies if you read it twice.

I did like the way it ends with "when you smile, it's true, the whole world smiles with you" If they do record it for the walkers maybe they could end it so the fans can then go into "when your smiling!" That would get the hairs on your back up!"

Besides, he isn't a 'heroe' in 'blue & white', he's more of a fat twat with not enough clothes on.

You can use the rhyme on the last syllable which rhymes with kiss, miss, piss, diss, hiss.

Shorten it to Theo Zee (US style). Then you have Zebedee for a rhyme ('next best thing to Zebedee?'). Sorted. 'Cos he always came out on springs.

Or Theo Zed - always got it on his head.

Or just Theo, several useful rhymes for that : BO, Leo, Me-oh, Rio.

Can be done.

I think the song is great. The DJ line shouldn't be taken out as it's so damned true. But it's not good PR Sadly.
