i dont think so, from what i remeber the first few episodes set the scene for what's to come. introduces you to the main characters etc.

A couple of my mates missed the first 4, after a bit of peer pressure they watched it, caught up fairly easy and got gripped by it.

Personally, I would go and view the first ones Hazza!!!

All you need to know is that there are few weirdos with 'special' powers, and they don't understand what the feck is going on

And then some Indian chappy who dad was some sort of scientist working on a formula as to how identify them - but apparently he died whilst driving a taxi in New York 102, and his son has gone there to find out what the feck was going on. And there are some evil people trying to get hold of this formula

I agree it was poor but so where the first 2/3 episodes of the first series. Hopefully it will get better and quickly, there are only 11 episodes in this series due to the writers strike!
