It will be good to see a bit of Gradel, Lycett, Magunda etc, hopefully Newton and Melton will tell us that they look like good prospects.....

Come on City! :038:
Didn't see Lycett, but I was certainly excited by the performances of Gradel & Magunda.

After todays performance, the short term future certainly looks brighter than the short term past

Mike Stowell said Ian Miller has gone to watch Man Utd so obviously he went out to check out Preston and you would assume Rob Kelly went to check on Luton.

Nissa was also there watching the game. Good to see other players turning out to support the lads.
Not the greatest standard tofay but there was enough for me to think that we have a good crop of youngsters coming through.

After todays performance SL, I am in full agreement

I agree, OG looked the part, great first touch and not scared to run at the defence. I was also impressed with Louis Dodds. The only downside for me, judging by yesterdays display, Alan Sheehan is just not good enough at left back. He was beaten time and time again by there winger and his heading was terrible. his temperment still has not improved since his red card last season, he was warned once about some petty squabbling with there striker and then a few mins later blatantly hacked down another player which could of easily seen him booked or sent off. Saying that Carl Heggs should of gone for a blatant elbow on Paddy Gerbrand.

I was impressed by some of the youngsters especially the chap that played right back (number 2) and the young lad who came on at right wing (number 15 i think) though at first i thought we had signed shaun wright philips as they look so alike.

I was also impressed with Momo Sylla who showed flashes of effort every now and then. If RK can motivate him to play at a consistent level he could be a great attacking player for us (wait for the abuse) at one point he skipped past a few players with his shot going just over the bar.

Looking forward to Saturday

Ive got no favour for O'Grady over Fryatt or Hume he just playing better at the moment. He is also developing in to the player so many on here felt he wasn't capable of.

spot on Durham. Saw him at Macclesfield and he made an immediate impact when he came on (probably feels he should start).
He might not start at Luton but Matty and Humey must be looking over their shoulders, because once this kid gets in he will be there for keeps!

Guessing one of them was you. What stand were you in. The main one with the seats or the other side.
As Newton said we were on the smaller of the 2 stands (opposite the tunnel and benches) feeling intimidated by the Hinckley Massive :icon_lol:

Myself, Newton & Real Sharapova
