no one of the lads went uni so they got a replacement they are down the old aylestone boxing day night (after the match) :035:
 
What does everyone think about us getting Rasiak here from Spurs on loan in the new year?

He is not really doing it at Spurs and is a proven goal scorer in this division. I don't think we could afford to buy him, but IMO he would be a great addition to the team.

Apparently fatty McGhee was looking at him for Brighton, but he did not think Rasiak would want to go there.

I know we are not in a great position in the league at the minute and it may be hard to attract someone like him to our place, but it is worth a try? :102:

I was reading about him earlier.Apparently Jol wants him for when Mido goes away to the African Nations Cup,he won't play Keane and Defoe together too similar.Rasiak is looked upon as sub for Mido.

Looks like Jol is trying to get Mido back from the African Nations cup in between games so that he can play for Spurs. Got this from their site:

Tottenham boss Martin Jol remains hopeful that he can reach a compromise with Egypt to allow Mido to return to England in between African Cup of Nations matches.

The tournament, which spans January and February, will see Spurs shorn of a player who has proved pivotal in a promising first half of the season.

Mido could miss up to four games should Egypt progress beyond the group phase, but Jol is looking for an alternative that would allow the striker to miss less playing time.

Clubs have tried to do this before, but i don't think one has ever been successful.
