Some comments from a former QPR director when Holloway was there:

"The time has come for a change. There's a malaise setting in.

"I've backed him through thick and thin. Through the terrible runs we had - including the Vauxhall Motors defeat - I backed him. Not any more."

We've had short-term measures. Where is there any sign of us building a team?

"All Ian wants to do is spend more money and have even more players.

"We have some good players and good youngsters coming through. It's imperative we develop these boys and I don't think under the current set-up that's going to happen.

"The atmosphere is different. There are empty seats and I don't believe that's only down to price increases. The football is poor and the spirit on and off the pitch is ebbing away.

"The club has become stagnant and we need fresh ideas to take us forward."

Don't get the point of that post to be honest.

Just proves Jeff isn't wearing the Blue Mongie specs that so many seem to be.

that was a long time ago tho, im more interested in his recent performances with plymouth, and whether or not he is good for leicester

That's all very well, Jeff, but you are ignoring the fact that he is such a funny bloke and we will have some great post-match interviews that will be simply hilarious

He's flippin' craaazzee bonkers, mate and that's the most important thing (despite him being utterly shite)

Didn't you read that thing he said ?
Something about shagging a bird or something. It was really, really, really funny, apparently

Slightly worrying but, of course, it's one side of an argument. Let us hope that Holloway will give a chance to our youngsters.
On the bright side, he surely wont want a larger squad than we now have, he'll just want to improve the quality!

Was that not said when they put him on gardening leave for asking to speak to us? They also did brilliantly after he left.

One would have to look at what was happening at that club behind the scenes at that time. Shocking. I wouldn't pay any attention to that at all.

Can't do anything about what he has done. As the saying goes, "If the past is always present, you have no future!" So, let it go.....

Only interested in what he can and will do for LCFC.

If he is still here at the end of the season it means we are going in the right direction. Upwards!

Well it's better than Peter Reid.

:102:

So do you not think it's important to know something about our new manager, other than the silly soundbites some people are getting excited about?

Well you've just posted some silly soundbites, from one of a bunch of nutters as it's clear the old QPR board were, and are expecting us to get excited about them. Personally, it sounds like sourgrapes to me, and QPR's position since Holloway left suggests he must have something in his kit bag doesn't it?
