became a fox? I see on here that people around all of England and sometimes even out in the desert or Oz being a true fox, so i was wondering how people on here became a Blue Army, was it a father and son thing? was it because of locality? or was it that u guys were truly amazed by the dazzling skills of Chris Makin?

By the way, I m originally from Hong Kong but moved to Leicester around 9years ago, it was just about when we lost McGhee and MON came... boy were those great days...

I Remeber as a wee lad when i was 4 or 5 and just getting into football i liked Liverpool, mainly because they were winning things (mid 80's) then at on my 6'th birthday my dad took me to a leicester game for my birthday and needless to say we went home and i gave my mum my liverpool shirt as a new duster coz i wanted one of them blue shirts with pin stripes. and i've never turned back. now i'm living in ireland i dont get across as much as i should but i get the radio on the internet for every match, as shit as we are right now i wouldn't miss a kick.

brainwashed by me Dad!
born in leicester and most of my family still there, we left when i was about 4, first game at about 6.
me dad spends his time at welford road these days, but can still remember scorers, time of goal and weather from games back to the 50's

Went to my first game when I was about 5 or 6 it was a Nil - Nil draw against Swansea, moved to Preston when I was 9 so ended up watching the North West games and the odd home match, but this season I have packed in playing and try to get to as many matches home and away as I can, really enjoying it again even if the performances and results have left a lot to be desired.

Born in Leicester, lived there till I was about 9 then moved to Coventry urgh!! Actually lived in Coventry when they won the FA CUP, but always been a Fox. Moved to Wales after Cov, then moved back to Leics at about 16 then back to Wales at about 19. Used to have a season ticket in the MON days. First game was around 86-88 V Liverpool, wouldn't dream of supporting someone else!

Don't get to see them much now, I'm hoping for Swansea to do over Reading & obviously us to beat Blackpool. I'll be down Swansea in a shot! Little lad of 4 is rareing to goto his first match. Born here & without any encouragement from me, he's a Leicester fan! His nasty scouse mother brought him a Liverpool shirt, lol he wont wear it!!!

"COMEON LEICESTER!"

I was born in Reading, and now live in Coventry but have always supported Leicester beacuse of my dad doing so. first match was at home in '97 i think against Sheffield Weds - 1-1 - Steve Guppy scored.(good man)

Born and bred in Leicester , and was hooked when me dad came home with 2 tickets for a game against the mighty reds ( that was liverpool in the 70s not Man u).
1-1 draw with the great Keith Weller scoring ours.
Always remember the great atmosphere at filbo. Around 30 thou crowd and far more intimidating than the walkers.

Family from Leicester, Houghton-on-the-hill, moved to London at four-years but went back to Leicester all the time and followed blue army ever since...well, 1977 really... First game was Leicester and I have been a fox ever since. I live in London still but get to see the boys when I can.

born and bred in leicester, went to my 1st game against tranmere wen it was rly snowin badly and it nearly got called off, we drew 1-1 but it was so worth it and i never looked bk since

Got hooked on footie at the age of five watching non league guess it was a father..DAUGHTER thing!!

Moved to Leicester almost 20 years ago and began taking son aged about 5...both still avid with me doing all away games still!

BTW hubby hates footie!

Leicester born and bred, and lived there until just over two years ago when I moved out to the desert here in Arizona.

My first game was, I think, against Wolves, and I seem to remember Emlyn Hughes and Andy Gray playing (although I could be wrong as I was very young!). I remember seeing Lineker banging in loads, Lynex charging down the wing, and Wallington saving penalty after penalty. I also remember seeing our now assistant Rob Kelly scoring an equalizer against Manure (past the blond-mopped Gary Bailey). That was on a trip with the school - they used to be given a couple of dozen free tickets every now and again and we got to sit in the double decker. I wonder if the club still hands out freebies when Man U come to town...?

My mum and dad very bravely used to let me and my brothers go the games unattended in the hooligan 80s when we were 10-15 years old. That's probably seen as child neglect these days! We would take the bus to the train station, and walk from there, often alongside the opposition fans and their police escort, to the ground. We'd stand right at the front of the family enclosure (50p for junior season tickets! And then another 1.50 or something per match) and when the TV cameras were in town, we'd stage mock pitch invasions, or real ones when city scored, in the hope of getting on. We always got a bollocking from the same steward every week, but we never got into trouble. Times they have a-changed a bit since then...

Ah, the good old days... *eyes go misty, chokes back a tear*

Born in Scraptoft very early 60s and moved to Liverpool when three. Parents moved around the north west a lot. I never had an allegiance to Liverpool or Manchester clubs, just Leicester. Dads family still live there.

Started following City proply in early 70s (I just remember Alan Clarke going to Leeds!). All my mates supported Man U or Man C, I was the odd ball who liked Leicester (wieerdo).

First game I saw was away to Burnley opening day of 78-79 season, I remember Pop Robson (I think) score a cracker for Burnley, dont remember our goals. Typical! Iv'e been more away games than home ones.

I remember spending my pocket money on a seat in the east stand at filbo . Then i'd stand at the back with loads of others even though i'd reserved a seat. Always remember the away fans being taken out and marched back to pen 1 after the usual fracas.
There always seemed to be fighting in the main stand near pen 4 as well.
Despite the trouble there was something magical about going down filbo, something thats difficult to explain, something that endeared me to our great club.

Born and grew up in Leicester (Thurnby Lodge) moved away 17 years ago.Mum and Dad and relatives still in Leicester.

Leicester born - yorkshire bred. My first game was home to Ipswich 1984 we won 2-0 - that was it I was hooked :D  . We (me and my sister) had no choice living 100 miles away we had to go when ma and pa wanted to go. My sister doesnt like footie her last game was the return of Brian Little.

Trying to influence my 3 year old nephew he does say 'leicester foxes' of his own accord although he sometimes he does say 'leicester fockers' - I find it hard to argue with him on that sometimes

my old boy worked on the M1 whilst i was indulging in my hobby of collecting milk bottles in belfast my ma won the spot the ball competition about £350 which got me and five brothers and two sisters over to england and to where my old boy was lodging which was indeed leicester
the rest is history

my dad/grandad/etc all followed leicester, loved football all my life but didn't really support anyone till i was 8 (Leicester - if you hadn't have guessed) then my dad took me to watch us play oxford in the 93/94 season loved it.

lived in leicestershire (Orton-on-the-hill) most of my life, Tamworth my main place for drinking.

Born in leicester, could see the ground from the window I am told.

First match was again the trees! 3-0 the Doug scored a hatrick, was hooked for life. Was really a City supporter before I went to the match as my Father and Grandad (infact all the rellies) were regular visitors to Filbo.

Go when I can, not easy living in Dorking, spend more time at away matches. Have two boys and a girl, they all know all the players from the 60's onwards, have some kit and watch all my DVD's and videos, they want to get up to the walkers ASAP (will take them to Brighton, nice day out!)
Been trying to get them to follow a local team, Woking, Palace, Fulham, you can stick Chelsea, everyone supports Chelsea round here!
It's their choice though.

When I was about 6 I first bacame aware that Leicerster City Football Club exsisted. By about the age of 7 (1997), I went to my first game with my dad and brother, Tottenham away, Theo's debut, we lost. If you think about it, it was quite convenient for my dad that in the time he was trying to get me into LCFC it was the late 90s, our golden age! So I just naturally became a Leicester supporter, Leicester city was the team my dad had naturally supported because he grew up in Lutterworth and his parents were also and stilll are Leicester supporters. When my parents talked about football they talked about Leicester and the only football matches my dad went to were Leicester ones and I wasn't exacty going to just not go to them!

I was introduced into City at its peak with the likes of Walsh, Izzet, Savage, Guppy, Lennon, Flowers, Heskey...you get the idea. Those are still my best memeories of the club and the way things are currently going, they will be for a long time!

I even remeber amazing things like beating Liverpool 2-0 and saying afterwards, "That liverpool were rubbish weren't they".
