I am currently studying at the Uni of Warwick and as a lifetime foxes fanatic I have chosen to do a business report looking into the service that Lindley Caterers provide pre match / at half time in the kiosks and how it can be improved. If you could vote how long you wait on average in the poll, obviously only if it applies to you, I would be very grateful. Also if everyone could post:

-How often they have exactly what you want to order
-A rating of the service out of 5
-Any comments on how they could improve their service it would be very much appreciated.

If you do not purchase from the concourse then why not? (Price? Quality? Service? Selection?)

Thank you very much for your valuable time, :038:

PS. I checked with Jeff that it was ok to post this

My contribution - The service is a pile of wank.

Anybody wanting to purchase at the half time whistle is usually stuck in the queue for the whole duration of H/T.

I went down at the Leeds game to get some cofffees just before H/T, i don't usually do this but I had a guest with me that I wished to look after. I went down early because of the H/T queues and this caused me to miss both goals.

So, because of the ineptitude of the staff serving, I feel my ST is devalued as I'm missing goals.

It's a longer wait at half time that before the match. Pre-match I never normally have to wait. Half time is normally a 10 minute wait.

I'd rate the service 3/5. I go to the same kiosk every week, the staff often dawdle (sp) about, a few times I've been given the wrong food or change.

I usually buy a cheese and onion pasty before kick off. Usually there's not much of a queue for a Saturday game, at around 10 minutes to kick off, but for evening matches I think people are more likely to arrive later and want something to eat and drink, so the queues are usually longer.

I've never tried to buy anything at half time.

Not sure why they don't have seperate areas for selling beers to food in addition to what's already on offer. Why not get say 10 blokes knocking out bottles of beer at half time from different points within the concourse? This would enable pie-loving types to get to their food more quickly I would think.

I haven't got anything from there in three years.

Firstly, it's overpriced. I can run down the road and get the same stuff a lot cheaper.

Then, also the general hygiene of the place. Pies shoved in microwaves etc. It took the biscuit when me and my Dad decided to get a pint of beer, we went to get served only to see that they were 100+ pints of lager on a counter behind pre-poured and dead as a door nail. Very off-putting.

Not as bad as Stoke's Carlsberg half-pint bottle at £3 scandal however.

I think he is a Lindley Caterers employee trying to get easy feedback, if you want my opinion do the proper thing and harrass me in the street or on the concourse, I will be much more likely to respond in a kind and professional manner

I dont purchase as its too expensive, I normally bring stuff with me for my cousins purchased from the supermarket as its a lot cheaper.

I do purchase stuff from the stadium and as has been said before, at the start of the game you get served fine but I wouldnt even dream of trying at half time.
The food is generally rubbish and I have been given the wrong chnge in both mine and their favour in the past. The pies are not too bad but can be sometimes cold.
One of the main porblems I find is that the staff seem to be a different nationality every week, half of them dont understand english and never seem to have handle english money in their lives. I know it must be difficult to staff these type of thisn but for god sake leics is full of poor students at least the would have some idea of the english language and currency.
