I'm hearing a little as 4,000 to as much as 6,000 were in attendance.

Does anyone know the true figure? I'm not sure if there was as many as last year, as there was a section in right side (as you're looking at it) of the stand that was sectioned off.

When they announced the attendance at the ground they said 3,600 were from Leicester.

It wasn't even as many as 4000 imo, nearer 3500-3800. the announer at barnsley credited either 3600 or 3800 cant remember which.

3808 according to the mercury.

That's still a pretty big number to take to Barnsley and I think most of us were packed onto one four-carriage train on the way home - good times!

Assuming it matters (i.e. we're not safe by then), how many do we anticipate taking to Stoke?

the stand behind the goal holds 6000. i am told barnsley always announce less away fans than are actualy (dont know why) fron a barnsley fan i know he reckons there were nearly 5000 leicester in.

I'm sure when the Barsnley fans seen the stand full of Leicester fans they were in total shock. When the goal went in they must have near shit themselves with noise created.

Well done one and all.......

Were tickets available on the gate?

I seen one chap say thanks to a steward who allowed a cash transaction, he exchange his money and got in.

As already mentioned full marks to Barnsley who were quite accomdating.

Its was a great crowd i made it to the game so my first away game this season, i tried to spot some T'ballers didnt seem to find any or any i did not notice
