Can't believe that RK has stated he has set a target of 50pts for the team . Wtf is that all about......16pts from 16games........how feckin negative by him. No wonder we can't get a result if hes setting the team such low targets. For the record we could easily get relegated on 50pts. Even if we don't then a target like that is surely going to mean a reoccurrence of the 90-91 season, when we sweated on the last game of the season on avoiding the drop to the 3rd tier for the first time. Surely he should be setting the team targets of around 8 or 9 pts from the next 6 games and at all costs banishing a tense and avoidable end to the season. Your way too negative Rob imo.

How is that going to make a person like me who at the moment can't be arsed to drag myself down to the Walkers every Saturday to cough up my dough. A point a game is relegation form by any standards, let alone at this stage of the season. I just wish I was able to get hold of the monday phone in, I'd want to ask the panel why our manager is advocating that we play the relegation game. Perhaps someone could phone for me.

think we can take for granted that RK is hopeless and a liability that has to be removed. The timing is the difficult thing. At the moment the club is in limbo. If MM doesn't takeover then I agree with your forecast of circa 45 points and relegated.

However, if MM does take over, I think that there will be an immediate impetus and in spite of the hapless Kelly that we will pick up circa 49 points and scrape survival. It would then be much easier to bring in a new manager in May/June with a clean start. At the moment we are a bad proposition for a potential incomer manager and indeed attracting players - which explains the short termism of the loan signings.

I know the board has had to struggle with lack of finance - but they have made a hell of a mess of things not least by the spineless way they kept on Kelly when it was clear ages ago he was a total dud.
