Never rated him....said as much when we signed him

I see no reason for him being in the team. he just ponces around the pitch doing **** all brushing his hair behind his ears.
We need some energy and bite in the middle. Hughes is not good enough either IMO. I am not pinning all my hopes on Wesolowski at such a young age but he certainly seems like our only centre-midfielder that likes to get stuck into a game.

Wesolowski and Williams ?

Foxpodder is up on line now ... suggesting a 4-3-3 with Hulme sitting just behind Fryatt and O'Grady ... something has to give after five blanks in 7 games! www.foxpodder.co.uk

Let me ask a couple of things.

1) Have you ever posted a non-advertising message?
and 2) who the feck is Hulme? You call him "Hulme" every week! :icon_wink

stearman came on as sub took 3 throw ins each one went to a hull player he looked as if he didnt want to be there at all ,hume in the end droped back into RS position as the lil tit couldnt even do that right ,so that means 2 players not in there normal role which screwed the whole team up from that point on we look crap

Yeah I agree, Stearman yet again didn't looked bothered.

IMO Porter was the best of a very, very poor bunch. I think he would scrape a 6/10.......

Obviously a great game when the highlight of the evening was Lazzers shirt.

After a good nights sleep and some serious analasys on our current plight, things look a tad different this morning.

I think we're more fecked than I thought we were last night

Lovely stuff :icon_bigg

Sounds like Groundhog day, if you go back to this time last season, I bet a lot of the posts would be carrying similar tones, and we all know how the season progressed.

We are 4 points off 5th place - think that suggests this division is still wide open. We will not play many games like last night and not score, I think everyones over reacting to a dissapointing night.

See two hours drive home lets you become serene and look on the bright side :098:

Agreed, another day we'd have won 4/5-1.

They had two shots of note all game and we created loads of chances. Fryatt missed or didn't get himself ready to finish most of them. The first 3 corners we had we should have scored from, McCarthy had a brilliant header well saved, Hume had a good shot brilliantly saved, Fryatt is a yard short at the moment and missed 2 chances at the near post and also should have got on the end of a couple of through balls as well. Porter should have scored from 6 yards as well in the first half. Thats 10 good chances to score that we created off the top of my head.

I honestly thought that for the first 50 minutes or so we passed it well, switched the play well, created chances against a team with 10 men behind the ball which we've not been able to do for years. Low and Porter put in enough quality crosses for the forwards and although people were saying our centre midfield are slow and poor, we weren't outplayed in midfield at any point in the game, Hughes had a good game IMO apart from a shocking free kick towards the end and Johnson started poorly and then did what he should be doing and picking up loose balls and passing it simply.

I'd give most of the players a 6 but Hume would get a 4, Fryatt would get a 5 (he kept trying and putting himself into the right positions) and Stearman would get a 4.

On nissa, 1st half he did ok, got the ball and fed Porter quickly. Whether this was due to the fact RK and MS were near him and told him what to do I don't know but in the 2nd half he stopped doing it for some reason.

Incidentally, another point I'd make is the fans. Is it me or is that no matter how we play, no matter how many chances we create and whether we play ok (granted the last 15-20 mins were poor but we still had chances) if we lose then the team get booed?!

And then we wonder why young players never really come through our system. Its because as soon as they make mistakes they are castigated by their own fans for being shite and then get told by our 'supporters' that a player who was being billed as our best player about 3-4 weeks ago isn't going to score all season.

The lad is 19, if luck was with him he'd have scored 3/4 last night but don't ruin him, he's going to be good. One reason why Crewe manage to produce so many young players is that they are allowed to develop in the 1st team and make mistakes and go 10 games without scoring because their fans don't boo them and shatter their confidence by booing the team every time they lose no matter how they play.

No wonder our home form is patchy to say the least because as soon as they concede a goal they know they are going to be booed and start panicking.

View from a hull fan.

Great night out for a Hull fan like winning a cup final (sadly). Have to say thanks for the warm welcome in the pub on Narborough road shame all places cant allow fans to mix like that. And apologies for the predictions of the guys I was speaking to coming true, Leicester always giving the first win to the bottom side. I thought in fairness you were unlucky and could have had a hatful but Bo Myhill had one of his great games in goal and you were undone by a 25 yard wondergoal. Goalscorer is your priority, i personally think everywhere else you looked pretty solid. All the best until you come visiting the KC.

I reckon you guys will be ok this season coming forward at times you were superb and you battled for everything looked like 3 on 1 every time we had the ball and like I said on another day we could have been calling for our managers head after a 4-1 loss, as other fans have been saying to us bit of patience, Hume will work his socks off all the time and you have a gem in Levi Porter once he gets a bit of awareness. Your going to turn someone over shortly with the number of chances you create and I reckon you will be fine.

Mostly agree with that TBH, just hope that we will start putting the chances away and everything will be alright!!! :icon_redf :icon_redf :icon_redf
