I dont think City could afford to let Hume go, it would mean in my thinking Louis Dodds as 4th choice striker.

No one could buy him until January anyway, so it's pointless talking about it until then, so many things can change in the next three months.

Or, if it's Craig Levein, loan him in and then sign him for an expensive permanent contract after seeing him play one game. Then realise he couldn't hit a barn door and spend the rest of the season regretting it.
