We were never going to be. Far too little time to shift out the shite we need to & get in suitable replacements. We'll probably have a settled squad that has gelled into the best version of itself somewhere around November (& thats if Enzo & the coaching staff actually prove to be any ****ing good)
Even then there'll still be dead weight ****s mooching around the place doing **** all & getting paid a fortune for it. They won't be gone til at least January & more likely next summer. This is going to take time.

To be honest I don't see anything better than a mid table finish even if the new management turn out to be a good decision. Hard to get enthused about anything at this point for me. Just feels like a nothing season in prospect.

Thats what the complete denial of relegation as a possibility has done. It's all just a make do & mend ****ing shambles.

I think we will do better than mid table, but agree with everything you have said other than that.
I like what I've seen of Enzo so far, personality wise anyway.

Or perhaps anything more than a second successive relegation is a success, depending on your point of view. Things could really head that way without massive intervention. Thankfully that intervention seems already to be underway.

At least half the teams in the Championship will be playing out from the back with terrible defenders. Goals like this will occur weekly because almost all managers are fecking idiots.

For us to be a strong side, all we need to do is ensure that we have pace and energy in our forward players to chase down defenders. Goals will be plentiful.
