i would keep Newton unless the new manager brings a right winger with him, hes done ok, works hard and looks dangerous going forward

Danny Cad deserves a contract, he's changed the pace of a couple of games and shown more desire and professionalism than any other of the current plonkers.

He deserves the right to at least be called up for pre-season training and for the new manager to take a look at him.

Couldn't agree more.

He's paid his way this season just by earning the replay at fulham. give him another year.

and in other games he makes the flow of the game change, useful if you have a manager that will consider bringing him on before 82 minutes is on the clock. yeates wouldn't get in my local side he's that fecking useless, he thank feck will never get a contract at city i hope

He's trouble. He's nowhere near good enough to be worth it. No way he'll stay.

We'll see. I think we'll see a big change in the way that many of our players perform next season. Given a new manager and a change of ethos within the club and I think that the results will be plain to see.

Incidentaly, did anyone see Caddy get told off by the lino on Saturday for trying to tie a balloon to the corner flag. Made me laugh. He just seems like a breath of fresh air given the attitudes of some other members of the squad.

Why do you say that? Seems overly harsh to me.

Ask yourself why a manager who gave this fella a chance to redeem himself suddenly bombed him out of the squad and then out on loan despite our inability to score/create goals?

RK wasn't the best but there were non footballing reasons for this. The guy is trouble and the last sort of influence the young players at this club need right now.

In footballing terms, the guy went from the top half of the Prem to the bottom of the third division in no time at all. Even before his drugs ban, nobody at our level was interested.

He makes a couple of 20 minute cameos and suddenly is worth a contract and all the baggage he brings with him? No thanks.

Fcuk them all off, none of them have done enough to show they can take us to the next level.

Doesn't neccasserily earn him a contract but like was suggested it could be worth the new manager taking a look at him in pre-season. Against Birmingham he did really well when he came on. Showed a lot more passion and effort than most of the players who'd started.

Unfortunately, I think that's probably right.

He undoubtedly has the ability to impress the fans with as you say "cameo" performances. He knows what to do to get noticed....but I think the bottom line is that he is not going to cut it in any meaningful way and given the apparantly poor attitudes of the players as a whole is someone we are better without.

My guess is that the managers in the top two divisions know enough about him, not to be interested.

I've asked myself lots of questions about Rob Kelly's decision making process, throughout his tenure, but have mostly been left clueless.

Why is he trouble?
Why is he such a bad influence?
What is all this baggage that you think he brings with him?

...

I'm not understanding this.
If somebody is pushing themselves on to try & become a permanent feature of the squad, training on his own if needed & having a positive attitude, why would we be better off with him away from our present shower of passionless, lazy f*cktards?

All this speculation is wonderful, we have absolutely zero evidence, not even somebody claiming to be "in the know" and we are ruining the guys character!

Splendid!

simple solution from now is to do the total opposite of what that prick would have done. he can crawl under a rock and die
