It will all depend on the quality of any new striker - obviously its easier to acquire half decent defenders and mid fielders but the reason why we are not particularly strong runners with the bookies is, of course, because they don't think the current squad is going to produce between 20 more goals than last season.

if connolly reproduces the form he showd in the last few games of the season, and the form he showed over 2 seasons at wimbledon we'll easily score 20 more goals, that is a big if though.

alot of his goals at the end of last season were penalties. We will ahve to wait and see seeming as a strikers no longer appears to be on the wish list.

I can see why. To what I have seen connely aint an out and out striker, and MDV has been a major disapointment.

lets just hope that its true that MDV wasnt fully fit last season and that all his pre season training will pay off and with a good run in the team he will hopefully be ok.
