Coming soon:

Peter Taylor - was he really all that bad ?
Martin O'Neill - just why did he leave us to go to Celtic ?
David Pleat - should we have given him more time ?

Joe Hamill - if we'd kept him we wouldn't need to play Waghorn on the left?

I wasn't saying it wasn't his fault i would say he should take 50% of the blame if any if the managers had had a full season we would never have gone down

I cannot agree with your percentages, Even if you keep it to the managers that lets Martin Allen and Gary Megson rather off the hook. I believe that Megson leaving so soon after the Martin Allen business left a legacy of poison which Holloway failed to put right.

For me Milan must share part of the blame. I also blame the players. The last home game against a woeful Sheffield Wednesday team was one of the most wimpish performances I have seen by a Leicester side.

One comparison I find interesting though not strictly relevant . If you had a son aged about 20 which Leicester manager would you want as your son's boss. It is not always the successful ones - I think Frank McClintock and Peter Taylor would come high up the list whereas Jock Wallace would come low. Ian Holloway would come very near the top for me whereas Martin Allen would be absolutely at the bottom.

Jock Wallace has been dead for about 15 years so I would not particularly expect him to be anybody's boss.

What confuses me more is this idea some people seem to have that he has some kind of excellent record outside Leicester.

Don't get me wrong he's done an excellent job at Blackpool, but before us he did a poor job at Bristol Rovers overall, a decent one at Plymouth and a mediocre one at QPR. His record before us was pretty much nothing and he's just another example of the English media overrating someone because of their "character." He never would have even been considered good enough for the Leicester job based on his previous record if he had the media presence of, say, John Gregory.

That's a great point to be fair. His record at QPR was fairly so so, but he did do a good job at Plymouth, and is doing a great job at Blackpool.
