Integrating NTLWorld email with GoogleMail

Virginmedia (NTLWorld) now have their email running on the GoogleMail platform.

Anyone know if there is a way to integrate my NTL account with my GMail one so that it all comes through together onto my mobile on the GMail app?

You could get one account to forward all mail to the other.

But I would only have one 'sending' address and it might be the wrong one!

You can set up additional from addresses in Google mail.

When I reply to an email using the Google mobile thing on my Nokia 5230 it will automatically select the right from address, but I don't think it lets me select a from address when I compose a new email. Presumably the app for more advanced phones will have more features.

Settings > Email

Add an account by inserting the logon and password.

Account will be added to the iPhone email.

No idea about the Google app, iPhone app works better anyway.

When adding a POP account it tells me that VirginMedia doesn't support leaving a copy on the server and refuses to go any further.

This is complete bollocks because I have that option checked at work so that I can still have a copy later at home.

Oh I can integrate it, but it won't let me tick the box to keep messages on the server.
