Iheanacho with one goal and two assists for Nigeria vs Argentina. Musa with one assist. Nigeria lead 4-2.

When you look at Stones and Maguire and consider what each player cost, I have to say we got a total bargain.

Vards is just not getting a touch, the midfield cannot create anything.

And then in the last five minutes he’s had a fair few touches, mostly poor. And now he’s off. One of his most frustrating matches for England I’d suggest.

Maguire has been solid.

Vardy was awful

But not quite as awful as Dier or Lingard

Pathetic

Lindgard and Bertrand are nowhere near good enough for this level.

Vardy was shit

Maguire, absolutely quality and passed the ball forwards more than Henderson ever has.

Seeing Jesse Lingard play for England reminds me of when Robbie Williams' Life Through a Lens was voted third best album of all time in an MTV poll; a little part of me realised music had died that night and I fear that football is going the same way if Lingard and Bertrand are considered international players.

That can't be real.

Listening to Glenn Hoddle commentary, sounded to me like he wants England to be an international version of our Premier league winning side

Also, he was very praise worthy of our Harry
