good game after a very difficult week. All played well, there was not a single player who played bad..........












Henderson still worries me though, even if he did make a couple of blinding saves.

sorry on rain peoples parades but ipswich were absolutely shockingly dreadful and could be the worst team I've seen for 3 seasons, IF we can roll over KovSkum on Friday I'll be more convinced about our prospects this season

Henderson 6 - Couple of decent saves but still does not command his area.

Kenton 7 - 3 games and 3 different positions but each time has acquitted himself very well

Kisnorbo 7.5 - Marshalled the Ipswich attack superbly. Great header to give us the lead.

McCarthy 7.5 - Looked back to the defender we know and love, much better performance.

Johansson 7 - Fully justified his recall and looked very comfortable.

Low 7.5 - Excellent first half, sending over a number of excellent crosses, seemed to quieten down in the 2nd half.

Hughes 7 - Much better, looked like the player from 2 seasons ago, Superb strike for the goal.

Johnson 8 - Man of the Match IMO, ran the game, controlled the tempo and someof his passing was sublime. Really positive influence on the club constantly talking and directing the players, a real leader.

Tiatto 7 - Much better from Danny, looked a handful and was influencing the game, shame he had to go off.

Fryatt 7.5 - Again another player who seemed to find the form from last season, thoroughly deserved a goal, I am sure he will break his duck soon.

Hammond 7 - Very good, hard working display from Elvis. Looks much improved.

Hughes was my man of the match today. He just looked class, completely ran the show form midfield. I have not seen him play like that before in a city shirt. Also the fact we seemed to have some natural width and trouble there full-backs with Low and Porter was encouraging. Tiatto was also playing the game of his life before going off injured, I can't deny that no matter how shit he usually is.
